Should you have tax arrears for periods up to and including 2020, the IRD is offering a limited window of opportunity to pay all taxes owed with 100% waiver of interest and penalties. It’s important for us all to do our part because we’re all in this together.

The IRD Tax Amnesty Programme is a voluntary programme that provides taxpayers with an opportunity to settle outstanding tax liabilities on a favorable basis. Taxpayers who have unfiled returns, underreported obligations, or existing tax obligations who do not take advantage of this Tax Amnesty Programme by May 01st, 2024 will not be eligible for the benefits of the programme.
Filing taxes is not voluntary but obligatory. The amnesty ends on May 01st, 2024, therefore taxpayers who fail to take advantage of this amnesty may face a variety of enforcement actions, inclusive of penalties and interest.
Payment Plans are available for the tax amnesty. Any Payment Plan under the amnesty will only be in effect for the amnesty period of one (1) year, now from May 01 2023 to May 01 2024.
Your existing payment agreement with the IRD will be reviewed and after discussions with you, will be adjusted accordingly.
